PREFERENCES:

This section enables the user to select working default parameters for the software general Appearance, Units and Language.

Appearance: This tab allows the user to change the look and feel of the software. A choice between Metal (default), CDE/Motif and Windows is offered.

Unit: This tab allows the user to change the default units for any subsequent use of the query index or simulator. The Default panel section offers to automatically change the units into one of 3 systems.

• SI: International system (Default units) - For each parameter, the SI unit corresponds to the first item of the list
• English: Imperial system - For each parameter, the English unit corresponds to the second item of the list
• CGS: Centimeter / Gram / Second based system - For each parameter, the CGS unit corresponds to the third item of the list

More specific units for individual parameters are also offered below. For these cases, the default units must be changed individually.

Language: This tab allows the user to change the default language in Multi_R_Designer. At that time, only english version is available.
